Episode 25: SEO Sounds Like A Scam

Today I learned about SEO.

Apparently I’m supposed to strategically place words into the internet so Google blesses me with visibility.

That sounds made up.

MELTDOWN

People kept saying:
“Use keywords.”

Meanwhile I’m over here typing:
“Funny hoodie for emotionally exhausted creators trying not to scream.”

I don’t know if Google appreciates personality.

LESSON

SEO is basically helping search engines understand:

• what you sell
• who it’s for
• why it matters

Simple titles and descriptions matter more than trying to sound clever all the time.
